Satellite unit of SZABIST ZABTech Hyderabad @ Dadu

Following the dreams of founding chancellor SZABIST; Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, SZABIST ZABTech has signed off MoU with Research and Development Foundation – RDF on September 17, 2015 for executing Skill development training of unemployed poor women at Dadu district.
RDF is an action research community development concern working in different districts of Sindh, Pakistan with a vision of equitable and eco-friendly world. RDF with funding from Trocaire is implementing a livelihood strengthening project in Dadu.

SZABIST ZABTech (iTVE) Hyderabad has conducting 130 credit hours training program “Advance Tailoring Skills” of 25 unemployed poor women at Dadu district. The first ever satellite unit of SZABIST ZABTech (iTVE) Hyderabad was established on September 25, 2015.

Miss Museena -Trainer (Dressmaking / Tailoring) with years of field and teaching experience conducted the vigorous training. New fashion trends, measurement methodologies, professional and comfortable stitching, packing, repair and maintenance of stitching machines were among main headlines of training plan. It was noted that 16 of participants have started earning in third week of training session. Five have experienced sound growth in their income graph after attending training session.

Business counseling sessions were also conducted for ensuring women entrepreneurship activities in their localities. In last day of training session, All participants have taken oath of transferring the skills voluntarily to at least one orphan girl, widow woman or poor girl and woman around their localities.
It was very much impressive to note the passion and self-determination of all participants of serving community at top. Monitoring and Teaching staff paid thanks to RDF regional incharge Mr. Khawand Siyal for giving chance to serve at gross route level and RDF services were appreciated for the development of deprived community people.
